Korina Jochim, MFTKorina Jochim is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been treating individuals, families, and groups since 2008. With a degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, Korina had a previous career in journalism before transitioning to psychotherapy.

She has worked in numerous outpatient and residential settings, including Promises Malibu, Malibu Vista, SRI, and UCLA Behavioral Health. Korina’s training and experience is diverse and includes specialties in addiction, trauma, women’s mental health, and relationship issues.

A self-described “cheerleader” for group therapy, Korina especially enjoys working with groups and employs strategies such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and experiential exercises. Korina is known for her straightforward, practical approach to mental health and recovery. She believes in empowering clients with knowledge about themselves, their unique psychology, and concrete tools and skills to apply to their lives.
