Addiction Treatment
Dr. Reza and his clinical team at RESOLUTIONS all specialize in the treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. They are passionate about their work and have an in-depth understanding of addiction. Through motivational interviewing and a number of other treatment modalities, the RESOLUTIONS team helps clients navigate through the different stages of the recovery process.
They help client to not only develop a structured plan to continue the maintenance work that is so important in after-care, but also to resolve core issues that might underlie addicting behaviors. In addition to their extensive clinical experience in the field of addiction treatment, the clinical team at RESOLUTIONS have been educating parents, students, clients, and institutions regarding the magnitude of substance abuse as a cultural problem. This is evidenced by the overwhelming number of people today who are abusing their prescription medications.
ADDICTIONS WE TREAT
Substance Abuse ◊ Chemical Dependency ◊ Alcoholism ◊ Process Addictions
Lifestyle Addictions ◊ Love & Sex Addiction ◊ Spending / Shopping Addiction
Many of these are highly successful and accomplished individuals who most people wouldn’t suspect of having a substance abuse problem, including doctors not trained in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry. It takes a qualified addiction professional to truly understand these nuances. There is not a typical “addict” or “alcoholic” that comes into treatment. As a result, “one size fits all” approaches fail to take into account all of the unique experiences that contribute each individual’s addiction process. Treatment needs to be customized to address the needs of each individual, accounting for all contributing factors. There are a plethora of issues that could lead to the development of addiction, whether that addiction is to food, pornography, sex, relationships, gambling, shopping, video games, drugs, alcohol, etc.
At RESOLUTIONS, we treat substance use disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, chemical dependency, process addictions, behavioral addictions, as well as lifestyle addictions. 12-step meeting participation is strongly encouraged. But, we also recognize that it might not be for everyone. Thus, our holistic approach incorporates a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, which we find to to be the most comprehensive method of achieving long-term recovery and breaking the cycle of chronic relapse and shame.
