Chelsea is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and has been certified as an addiction treatment counselor since 2013. She holds a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, with her undergraduate study focused upon human services and substance use treatment. She has worked with both individuals and families since 2012, providing treatment and support in the areas of substance use, mental health, and developmental disability, in residential, full-service partnership, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and school settings. Chelsea also has extensive experience working with professionals, dual-diagnosis, substance use, severe and persistent mental illness, LGBTQ+, HIV+/AIDS, homeless, developmentally disabled, and probation/parole populations. She is foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). In her previous employment, Chelsea was certified by Orange County Health Care Agency to initiate involuntary psychiatric hospitalization for clients within the agency. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys creating art, being in nature, and spending time with loved ones.
