Jessica Bishop is a private and group yoga instructor based in Los Angeles. She is a 200 hr. RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher, Yoga Alliance) and received her certification and advanced training through CorePower Yoga. Jess began her teaching career in 2010 when she received her Masters in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught in a classroom setting for three years and used yoga both as a means of creating balance, happiness, and harmony in her busy life as well as to help focus and center her students. Jess knows first-hand the life-changing benefits that yoga provides through the mind, body, and spirit connection and believes that yoga should be and can be accessible to everybody. She has taught a diverse range of clients, including first-time beginners, people recovering from addiction and injuries, children, the elderly, professional athletes, and celebrities. Jessica customizes each private and group session to her clients’ needs in a safe, fun, supportive, and level-appropriate environment. She encourages her students to challenge themselves, using their yoga practice as a way to make positive changes both on and off the mat. Teaching yoga is one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences of her life.
