Dr. Daniel Hai, Psy.D., is a clinical neuropsychologist and founder of the Neuro Assessment Center in Los Angeles. He is known for a function-first approach that focuses on how cognitive and psychological patterns impact a person’s daily functioning, not just diagnostic labels.
Dr. Hai specializes in neuropsychological assessment for complex presentations involving trauma, addiction recovery, mood and personality dynamics, executive functioning difficulties, and neurocognitive concerns. His evaluations are designed to be treatment-facing and referral-ready, translating findings into clear recommendations that support admissions decisions, treatment planning, utilization documentation, and family communication.
He collaborates closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams and also leads groups that integrate brain-behavior education with practical strategies for change. Dr. Hai provides on-site neuropsychological services across Southern California.
